AiSensy Pricing Explained (2026): Plans, Add-ons and Per-Message Rates

AiSensy's free and paid plans, how the chatbot builder and AI Agent Builder add-ons stack, and how its listed India rates of ₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.145 per utility message compare with Meta's rate card.

AiSensy Pricing Explained (2026): Plans, Add-ons and Per-Message Rates

Short answer: AiSensy offers a Free Forever plan and paid plans that its pricing page says start at ₹1,500 per month, billed monthly, quarterly (5% off) or yearly (10% off). Chatbots and AI agents are separate add-ons: the chatbot builder is ₹2,500 per month for 5 chatbots and the WhatsApp AI Agent Builder is ₹1,350 per month for 1,000 AI messages. Messages are prepaid from a wallet at AiSensy's listed India rates of ₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.145 per utility message. BIK charges Meta's rates at cost with no markup.

Manifest AI: rated 4.8 on Shopify, trusted by 500+ ecommerce brands, backed by Y Combinator, live in about 2 weeks, 80%+ of tickets automated or your money back

AiSensy is one of the most widely used WhatsApp tools among small Indian businesses, largely because the entry price is low and contacts are unlimited. The total cost depends on two choices most buyers make after signing up: which add-ons they stack on the plan, and how many marketing messages they send. This guide walks through both using AiSensy's own pricing page, as listed in October 2026.

AiSensy pricing plans in 2026

AiSensy's pricing page lists a Free Forever plan and paid plans under an "Unlimited Users" model, with three billing cycles. The page's plan cards are rendered dynamically and did not appear in the page text we could retrieve, so the only base price we can confirm is the starting price in AiSensy's own page description: from ₹1,500 per month. Check the live page for the exact tier you need.

ItemWhat AiSensy lists (Oct 2026)
Free planFree Forever plan available
Paid plansFrom ₹1,500 per month
Billing cyclesMonthly, quarterly (save 5%), yearly (save 10%)
Users"Unlimited Users", no limit on monthly active users
ContactsUnlimited import; you pay for messages sent
Fair-use limitsUp to 200 agents, 500 tags, 100 attributes, 50 segments
Billing modelPrepaid; upgrades and downgrades are pro-rata
Signup credit₹50 of WhatsApp Conversation Credits
API procurement feeNone

Two details are worth knowing before you start. First, AiSensy says chatbots and automations need a minimum wallet balance of ₹10 to keep running, so an empty wallet can stop your flows, not only your campaigns. Second, the fair-use limits are generous for most small brands: 500 tags and 100 attributes is more room than several competitors give on entry plans.

AiSensy add-ons: chatbot builder and AI agent builder

The base plan covers broadcasts, a shared inbox and contact management. Automated conversations are sold separately. These are the add-on prices AiSensy lists, as of October 2026:

Add-onMonthly billingYearly billing (per month)USD, monthlyWhat it includes
Drag and drop WhatsApp chatbot builder₹2,500₹2,250$805 chatbots, cart management, catalogue sharing, Shopify integration, 3 free AI chatbot generations
WhatsApp AI Agent Builder₹1,350₹1,215$501,000 AI messages per month, knowledge base answers, long-term user memory, tool calling and API integrations, 500 free AI messages for testing
Indian virtual number₹299 for 3 months₹2,000 per year plus GST-A virtual number to use for the WhatsApp API

Note that the Shopify integration sits inside the chatbot builder add-on. A Shopify brand that wants cart recovery and catalogue flows on AiSensy will usually need this add-on, not just the base plan.

How add-ons stack

Here is what a typical ecommerce setup costs on AiSensy before a single message is sent, using the starting plan price and the listed add-on prices:

Line itemMonthly billingYearly billing
Paid plan (starting price)₹1,500₹1,350 per month (10% off)
Chatbot builder₹2,500₹2,250 per month
AI Agent Builder (1,000 AI messages)₹1,350₹1,215 per month
Total per month₹5,350₹4,815
Total per year₹64,200₹57,780

The yearly plan figure assumes the 10% yearly discount applies to the starting plan price; the add-on yearly prices are as listed. GST is extra. So the ₹1,500 headline becomes about ₹5,000 a month once a store adds automation and AI. That is still an affordable stack, but it is the number to compare with other tools, not ₹1,500.

The AI Agent Builder is metered. 1,000 AI messages a month is enough for a small store answering a few dozen customer questions a day. A brand handling hundreds of conversations a day will need more AI messages, and AiSensy's page does not list the price of additional blocks.

AiSensy per-message rates for India

Since 1 July 2025, Meta bills every delivered template message by category and recipient country. AiSensy shows its India rates directly on the pricing page, effective 1 October 2026:

CategoryAiSensy listed rate (India)Meta INR rate cardDifference
Marketing₹1.09₹0.8631₹0.2269 (about 26%)
Utility₹0.145₹0.1150₹0.030 (about 26%)
Authentication₹0.145₹0.1150₹0.030 (about 26%)
Service₹0.145 after 1,000 free per number per monthUtility rate after 1,000 freeAbout 26%

Meta INR rates as reproduced by InstantDM from Meta's rate card, October 2026. Meta's rate card excludes GST.

What we can and cannot say from this:

  • The gap is consistent. AiSensy's listed India rates are about 26% above Meta's INR rate card in every category.
  • AiSensy's page does not say whether its rates include GST. If they include 18% GST, Meta's rate plus tax would be about ₹1.018 for marketing and about ₹0.136 for utility, leaving roughly 7% unexplained. If they exclude GST, the full 26% is a margin above Meta's rate, and GST is added on top.
  • Ask before you compare. Request a written statement from AiSensy on whether its listed rates include GST, and compare its per-country rate sheet with Meta's for any markets outside India.

Some industry summaries quote ₹0.145 as the India utility rate. Meta's own INR rate card, as reproduced by InstantDM and consistent with the Codingclave audit, lists ₹0.1150. The difference matters at scale.

Other message rules AiSensy lists, in line with Meta's policy: utility templates sent inside the 24-hour customer service window are chargeable from 1 October 2026, incoming customer messages are free, and messages inside the free entry point window that opens from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad stay free.

Worked example: a month of messages on AiSensy

Take an Indian D2C brand sending 50,000 marketing messages and 20,000 utility messages (order confirmations and shipping updates) a month.

At AiSensy listed ratesAt Meta INR rate card
50,000 marketing₹54,500₹43,155
20,000 utility₹2,900₹2,300
Monthly message bill₹57,400₹45,455
Yearly message bill₹6,88,800₹5,45,460

The difference is ₹11,945 a month, or ₹1,43,340 a year. Part of that may be GST, depending on how AiSensy's rates are stated. Either way, at this volume the message bill is more than ten times the cost of the plan and add-ons combined. That is why the per-message rate, not the plan price, is the number to negotiate.

Who AiSensy is a good fit for

AiSensy is a strong option in several situations:

  • Small businesses starting on the WhatsApp API. A Free Forever plan, ₹50 signup credit and no procurement fee make it easy to try.
  • Teams that need many seats. Unlimited users, up to 200 agents on fair use, is generous at this price.
  • Low to moderate senders. If you send a few thousand messages a month, the per-message difference is a few hundred rupees and the low plan price wins.
  • Businesses outside ecommerce that mainly need broadcasts, a shared inbox and simple chatbots.

It fits less well for brands sending large marketing volumes, for brands that want WhatsApp, email and SMS on one customer profile, and for brands that need deeper ecommerce automation than five chatbots provide.

How BIK compares with AiSensy

BIK is a premium retention, conversational commerce and helpdesk platform built for established and fast-growing ecommerce brands, and a Meta Business Solution Provider.

Cost itemAiSensy (as listed Oct 2026)BIK
Platform planFree plan; paid from ₹1,500 per monthFrom $250 per month, priced on unique contacts; 100,000 contacts is $300 per month; startup plan available
Chatbots and AIChatbot builder ₹2,500 per month; AI Agent Builder ₹1,350 per month for 1,000 AI messagesAI credits included in the plan; journeys, AI agents and helpdesk in the same platform
India marketing message₹1.09 listedMeta rate at cost, no markup
WhatsApp numberVirtual number add-on availablePlatform priced on contacts; $10 per number per month applies only to BIK's API-only BSP offering
ChannelsWhatsApp-focusedWhatsApp, Instagram, email, SMS, RCS, web push, live chat
SetupSelf-serveMigration included; a growth manager sets up 30+ flows; dedicated WhatsApp group with the BIK team

On the worked example above, a brand on BIK pays ₹45,455 for messages at Meta's rate, before GST, instead of ₹57,400 at AiSensy's listed rates, a saving of ₹11,945. BIK's plan ($250 to $300 a month on contacts) costs more than AiSensy's ₹5,350 of plan plus add-ons, and at this volume that gap is larger than the message saving, so AiSensy is cheaper in total here. The saving only exceeds the plan difference once your message volume is higher. BIK's standard plans are built for brands doing about ₹1 crore or more in monthly revenue, where markup savings and revenue features such as journeys, AI selling and checkout in WhatsApp matter more than the subscription line. Smaller brands can start on BIK's startup plan. Brands that only need WhatsApp API access can use BIK as a BSP instead: $10 per WhatsApp number per month, no platform fee, no markup.

BIK's flow builder is built around ecommerce events. The Journeys screen includes agentic WhatsApp journeys for order cancellation and order tracking, and recommended journeys such as an omnichannel abandoned cart flow and a browse abandonment flow. Campaign Sales Agent replies to customers who respond to a WhatsApp campaign, using the campaign context to answer questions and handle objections. End-to-end checkout on WhatsApp lets customers browse and pay without leaving the chat.

Choosing the right category matters for cost: BIK's template builder separates Marketing and Utility templates and supports carousels of up to 10 cards. Figures blurred.

When AiSensy fits better than BIK

  • You only want broadcasts and a basic inbox. If you are not running a retention programme, AiSensy covers that. Smaller brands that do want retention can start on BIK's startup plan.
  • You are not an ecommerce business. BIK is designed around stores, carts and orders.
  • You need many agent seats on a WhatsApp-only tool. AiSensy's unlimited users model is hard to beat for that use case.
  • You want a free plan to test the API before you commit to any paid tool.
