Top 10 WhatsApp Business API providers in 2026: pricing, Meta partner status and best fit for your business
For most businesses, WhatsApp is now the channel where customers reply fastest. Order updates, payment links, appointment reminders and support chats all work better when they land in an app people already check twenty times a day. Doing that at any real scale means using the WhatsApp Business API, and that's where the confusion starts.
You can't buy the API straight from Meta and hand it to a marketing team. Either you build on Meta's Cloud API yourself, or you go through a provider that adds an inbox and campaign tools on top. Those providers charge in very different ways. Some take a monthly plan fee, some add a few paise to every message, and a few charge per phone number. The same 15,000 messages can cost noticeably different amounts depending on who you pick.
Meta also changed its pricing again in 2026. Since October 1, replies you send inside the 24-hour customer window stop being free after a monthly allowance, so a provider's markup on service messages now costs real money.
In this guide we compare 10 WhatsApp Business API providers on how they charge, their Meta partner status and who each one suits best. You'll find a side-by-side table, a short profile of each provider, a worked monthly cost for a brand sending 15,000 messages in India, a checklist for choosing, and a recap of Meta's 2026 pricing changes.
The 10 providers at a glance

| WATI | Monthly plan plus WATI's own rate card | Official Meta partner | Teams that want a polished shared inbox |

1. BIK
BIK is an Agentic Customer Engagement Platform, and any business that talks to customers on WhatsApp can use it, from D2C brands to service companies. WhatsApp is the main channel, with Instagram, email, SMS and website chat alongside it.

The pricing fits in a few lines. There's no platform fee, and each WhatsApp Business number costs 10 USD a month, billed in USD or INR depending on what suits your finance team. Meta's message fees pass straight through at Meta's published rate, with nothing added by BIK. Add a second number for another brand or region and you pay another 10 USD. Nothing else on the bill changes.
That 0 covers access to the WhatsApp Business API. BIK's journeys, AI agents and the wider engagement platform are scoped separately, so ask for the full quote when you talk to the team. It also helps to compare like with like, since several providers below fold an inbox and campaign tools into their plan fee, and BIK prices those on their own.
As a Meta Solution Partner, BIK connects your WhatsApp Business Account without a reseller in between. When a template gets rejected or a display name needs fixing, fewer hands are involved. BIK says templates are approved in under 5 minutes and quotes a 98% delivery rate on its WhatsApp marketing page. Meta controls approvals, so read the timing as BIK's own figure.
Day to day, what you get on top of API access is automation. A journey builder triggers flows from customer events, and BIK has 500+ prebuilt AI agents that can run on WhatsApp, Instagram, website chat, email and SMS. For stores on Shopify, the abandoned cart and checkout flows pick up checkout links from Shopflo, GoKwik, Razorpay Magic Checkout and other checkout partners with no extra setup, and journeys can fire on events like new orders and shipping updates. Ace Blend, in one published case, attributed 38% of its revenue to BIK over six months, with 85% of customer tickets handled by the AI agent.
Best for: any business that wants a flat, predictable WhatsApp cost as sends grow, and businesses that run more than one number.
2. Interakt
Interakt is Jio Haptik's WhatsApp product for small and mid-sized businesses, and it calls itself a Meta Business Partner.
On the India page we checked on October 4, 2026, Growth was ₹2,799 a month and Advanced ₹3,799, with discounts for yearly billing. Messages carry a markup. Interakt lists ₹0.970 for a marketing message and ₹0.150 for a utility message, about ₹0.11 and ₹0.035 above Meta's India rates. The WhatsApp AI agent costs extra.
Setup is quick, and the Shopify and WooCommerce connections work well. The catch is the markup, which grows with every marketing send.
Best for: small Indian stores with modest marketing volume.
3. WATI
WATI is one of the most widely used WhatsApp inbox and chatbot platforms, with connections to Shopify, WooCommerce, HubSpot and Zoho.
Its pricing page shows three plans (Growth, Pro and Business) and says messages are charged on WATI's rate card, not at Meta's raw rates. Extra users cost 24 USD a month on Pro and 69 USD on Business, the Shopify integration is a 4.99 USD monthly add-on, and the Astra AI agents are priced separately. Third-party sources quote the plan fees at different levels depending on the week and billing cycle, so read the live page rather than trusting a number from a blog, ours included.
Non-technical teams pick WATI up easily. The total bill is harder to predict, because the rate card, the user count and the add-ons all move it.
Best for: support and sales teams that value a mature shared inbox over the lowest cost.
4. AiSensy
AiSensy is an Indian official BSP with a large small-business base and a free entry plan.
Basic is ₹1,500 a month and Pro ₹3,200, after a price rise in May 2026. For India, AiSensy lists ₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.145 for utility, authentication and service messages, against Meta's ₹0.8631 and ₹0.115. That puts it roughly 26% over Meta on marketing. Campaign scheduling sits on Pro, and chatbot and AI features are add-ons.
Best for: small businesses testing WhatsApp broadcasts for the first time.
5. Gupshup
Gupshup is one of the earliest WhatsApp partners and a Meta Solution Partner.
Self-serve has no subscription. You pay Meta's fees at actuals plus 0.001 USD per message from a prepaid wallet. That fee applies to template messages and to session messages in both directions, so customer replies carry it too. Enterprise and managed plans are quoted by sales.
The per-message fee is the lowest in this list, but what you get is an API. You'll need your own campaign tool, an inbox and a developer, or a managed plan.
Best for: brands with engineering resources and high volume.
6. Gallabox
Gallabox is an Indian WhatsApp CRM built for sales and support teams.
Basic is ₹2,999 a month on quarterly billing, or ₹2,399 on annual, and caps you at 3 users. Essential is ₹6,999 and Advanced ₹16,999 on quarterly billing. Messages carry a markup, and Gallabox's own rate card from October 1, 2026 lists India marketing at 0.0136 USD against Meta's 0.0118 USD, about 15% higher. Seat caps and add-ons push the bill up as your team grows.
Best for: lead-driven businesses that need WhatsApp tied to a sales CRM.
7. Zoko
Zoko is a Shopify-focused WhatsApp platform known for catalog-to-checkout selling.
Plans start at 49.99 USD a month for Starter, then 79.99 for Plus, 139.99 for Elite and 499.99 for Max. Starter adds 0.015 USD per conversation, while higher plans carry no markup on Meta rates within fair use. Reported add-ons include the Shopify app at 4.99 USD a month and AI agents at 24.99 USD each.
Billing is in USD only, which some Indian finance teams find awkward.
Best for: Shopify brands outside India, or Indian brands comfortable paying in dollars.
8. Respond.io
Respond.io is an omnichannel conversation platform and a Meta Business Solution Partner.
At 1,000 monthly active contacts, Starter is 79 USD a month billed yearly (99 USD monthly), Growth is 159 USD and Advanced 279 USD. Meta's fees pass through at cost. Billing scales with contact count, which climbs fast for consumer brands, and broadcasts and workflows only start at Growth.
Best for: mid-market support teams running WhatsApp alongside other channels.
9. Twilio
Twilio is the developer default for programmable messaging.
It charges 0.005 USD per WhatsApp message, inbound or outbound, on top of Meta's per-template fees, and 0.001 USD for each failed message. There's no marketer-ready inbox or campaign builder. In a market like India, that 0.005 USD can even exceed Meta's own utility rate.
Best for: product and engineering teams building WhatsApp into their own apps.
10. 360dialog
360dialog is a Berlin-based, official Meta Solution Partner that sells raw API access.
Its pricing page lists Regular at 49 EUR per number per month, Premium at 99 EUR and Scale at 500 EUR, plus Meta's messaging fees. Its documentation says it charges no markup or commission on those fees. Regular includes 24/7 support and a direct escalation path to Meta, and Premium adds the inbox, send-outs and automation add-ons.
There's no campaign tool at the Regular tier, and the per-number fee runs about five times BIK's.
Best for: technical teams and software vendors building on top of WhatsApp.
Infobip deserves a mention too, for enterprises that want custom packages across many channels. Its public pages describe both per-message rates and a subscription model, so ask for a written quote.
WhatsApp API pricing in practice: what 15,000 messages cost
Picture an Indian D2C brand with one WhatsApp number, sending 10,000 marketing messages and 5,000 utility messages a month. Meta's own charge comes to ₹9,206 (10,000 × ₹0.8631 plus 5,000 × ₹0.115). Whatever sits above that is the provider's share.

| Provider | Fixed fee | Message charges | Approximate monthly total |
|---|---|---|---|
| BIK | 10 USD (about ₹880) | Meta rate card | about ₹10,100 |
| Gupshup self-serve | ₹0 | Meta plus 0.001 USD per message | about ₹10,500 |
| AiSensy Basic | ₹1,500 | ₹1.09 marketing, ₹0.145 utility | about ₹13,100 |
| Interakt Growth | ₹2,799 | ₹0.970 marketing, ₹0.150 utility | about ₹13,250 |
The gap between BIK and the plan-plus-markup tools is about ₹3,000 a month here, and it widens with every extra marketing message. A few caveats apply. AiSensy and Interakt include an inbox and campaign tools in their plan fee, while BIK's figure covers WhatsApp API access only. Gupshup's figure leaves out fees on incoming replies and comes with no inbox. We used about ₹88 to the dollar.
How to choose
Add up the full bill before you compare plans: the plan fee, any per-number fee, per-message markup, seats, add-ons and card charges. Ask each vendor for a sample invoice that separates Meta's charges from their own.
Check the markup on every message category, because marketing is only one of them. Service messages are billable past the free tier since October 1, so a markup there now hits support-heavy brands too.
Confirm partner status in Meta's Partner Directory. Solution Partners work with Meta directly, which shortens the path when something breaks.
Think about who will run it. If nobody on your team writes code, raw API providers like Gupshup self-serve, Twilio and 360dialog will cost you more in developer time than they save in fees.
Count your numbers. Multi-brand and multi-region businesses pay per number on BIK and 360dialog, and often move up a tier on plan-based tools.
And look at what sits on top of the API. For a store that means abandoned cart flows, checkout-partner support and Shopify triggers. For a service business it's usually appointment reminders, lead follow-ups and an AI agent that handles first-line questions. Those features largely decide how much value the channel brings in.
Meta's WhatsApp pricing changes in 2026
| Date | Change |
|---|---|
| November 1, 2024 | Service messages inside the 24-hour window become free |
| July 1, 2025 | Billing moves from per conversation to per delivered message; utility templates inside an open window become free |
| January 1, 2026 | India marketing rate rises from ₹0.7846 to ₹0.8631 per message |
| August 1, 2026 | Meta Business Agent replies are billed per token |
| October 1, 2026 | Service messages are charged at each market's utility rate after 1,000 free per business phone number each month; utility templates sent inside the 24-hour window are charged again |
The free tier resets monthly and doesn't roll over. Messages inside the 72-hour window that opens from Click-to-WhatsApp ads stay free to deliver.
Here are Meta's current rates per delivered message for a few markets, from the October 1, 2026 card:
| Market | Marketing | Utility, authentication and service |
|---|---|---|
| India | 0.0118 USD | 0.0014 USD |
| North America | 0.0250 USD | 0.0034 USD |
| United Kingdom | 0.0635 USD | 0.0220 USD |
| Germany | 0.1365 USD | 0.0550 USD |
| Brazil | 0.0625 USD | 0.0068 USD |
Meta's pricing calendar promises six months' notice for a change to the pricing model and at least one month for rate card updates, with changes landing on the first day of a quarter. In practice, one cart recovery interaction can now generate several billable messages. If your provider puts a markup on each of them, the markup multiplies. A per-number model like BIK's is less exposed to that.
